Welcome to the East Coast Bream Series

WSBB are proud to run the East Coast Bream Series again in 2020.

Unfortunately, due to Co-VID19 we've decided to postpone Round 2 on St Georges Basin to 2nd June. We possibly could have run the event, however we've decided to delay to help limit the spread of this disease.

For those that have pre-paid we're offering the choice of a refund or transfer the entry to the next round. Please reach out to us on This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

At this stage, Round 3 is still going ahead. However, unfortunately there are no certainties. Hope all teams understand and will continue to support the series once we beat the spread of this virus.

Entry forms are below for the other rounds, we're hoping to be able to continue the series and will do our best to keep you all informed on the status of future rounds.

Again this year, this is a team event of 2 anglers consisting of 5 rounds in 2020 and a grand final.

All teams can nominate a reserve angler to fill in, should one team member be unable to fish any round (The reserve cannot be a member of another team fishing these events).

The top 30 teams with the highest point scores of the 5 rounds will be invited to fish in the grand final.

Point score system this year will be 200 points for 1st, 199 for 2nd, down to last weight. Any team without fish will score 100 points.

Cost for each round is $150 if prepaid. If registering or paying on the day $170. Grand Final $200.

Starting position will not be allocated until payment is received.

To be eligible to fish this event you must have a current fishing licence, the boat must be registered and be fully compliant with maritime requirements and must have a live well that can sustain 5 live bream for the duration of the event. All fish must be able to swim away when released. Dead fish won’t be weighed.

This event does not offer weight penalties for infringements. If you fail to follow rules or instructions given on the day your catch will be disqualified and you will receive 0 points

There is no compulsion for any team to fish all 5 rounds. You are welcome to fish any event you want and can via for the prizes on offer for that event.

Entry forms for each event will be posted below. Entry forms must be completed with all details of all anglers. Incomplete forms will be returned. By completing the entry form you acknowledge the terms & conditions (Link below entry forms) and agree to abide by all written and verbal instructions given at briefing for each event.

Results will be published on the results page and in NSW Fishing Monthly after each round.

Our aim is to run a bream series that is fun to fish for all entrants. Our club has strived at all times to maintain a social atmosphere which anglers that have fished our events in the past will support.

This year, with the catastrophic fires experienced across the East coast, round 2 at St Georges Basin will be a fund raiser for the bush fires. WSBB will donate $10.00 per entry to a reputable organisation to assist those that have been affected.

More information will be posted on face book so please share and pass the word around to support!

Good luck to all that enter these events and make sure you introduce yourselves to us on the day!
